![]() I would def say if you can only afford one upgrade on the base (£200) then get the 16GB of RAM as the storage makes very minimal time savings in video editing, where as RAM should be more significant especially if multitasking. Also, 16GB/256GB is much faster than 8GB/256GB as more RAM speeds it up especially with the higher bandwidth on the M2. But this is from just watching reviews, so no idea of baselines. Certainly seen ProRes rendering be much faster on M2, close to half the time, and Davinci seems to be faster than FCP ATM. I am not sure FCP has been updated for the M2 yet, or has been only recently. –SMPOST–So apparently the storage issues aren’t restricted to just the 256GB Macbook Air?!
